Guitar practice doesn’t have to be boring. In fact, you make the fastest progress when you are enjoying your practice time.
But memorizing guitar scale “boxes” is extremely boring. A box pattern is ok as a shortcut to get you started. But in the long run, boxes are not effective for fretboard navigation, for three reasons:

Today I’ll show you a fun and effective way to jump around the fretboard and play the A Minor Scale (also known as the A Aeolian Mode) in many different positions. We will use the String Fragment System™ which is much easier and faster than memorizing boxes.
